Southwood is the ideal location for your marriage, civil ceremony and wedding celebrations. The venue offers attractive managed and manicured gardens where memorable photographs can be taken of your special day.

We can offer exclusivity for your day ensuring that only your families and guests are present to enjoy the celebrations. We aim to provide you with all your requirements and to ensure, if you require something different, we can accommodate your needs. We are also able to offer a retiring/changing room for the Bride and Groom to use throughout the day.

Food at Southwood is provided by our skilful and experienced caterers. They have a team of qualified chefs and a dedicated waiting staff who can deliver your choice of food for the day and evening. There are a wide choice of menus to choose from for your special day, everything from Canapes, Wedding Breakfast, buffet menus and evening supper choices. Our chef will be happy to discuss any special requirements or ideas you may have. This is complimented by a well-stocked bar offering cask ales, premium lagers and a carefully chosen list of wines and spirits.

We have two reception suites available with guest capacities of 50 to 120 respectively. You can party into the evening with live music or a DJ, whatever is your desire.
